Ingredients
- 9 cups Chex cereal - Rice Chex, Corn Chex, or Chocolate Chex - the choice is yours
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Melt 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in a large pot over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Add ½ peanut butter. Stir to combine with the melted chocolate.
- Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and remove from heat.
- Gradually add 9 cups of Chex cereal and stir until well-coated.
- Put 1½ cups of powdered sugar into a gallon-sized zip-top bag.
- Pour the Chex mix from the pot into the zip-top bag and shake until well-coated.
- Spread the mixture onto a waxed paper-lined baking sheet and allow it to cool for at least 10 minutes.
- Store in an air-tight container or in a clean zip-top bag.
